Cardio or Endurance activities are those that strengthen your heart and lungs.  Frequent participation in endurance types of physical activity increases energy levels and can improve overall health. Walking, golfing, and even some household chores are examples of lower impact endurance activities. More vigorous activities include running, cycling, cross country skiing and rowing.
