Canada Day – GO2 Walk with the Mayor
On Canada Day, Mayor Bill McAlpine, of Okotoks, lead the way along with GO2 volunteers for our 2nd annual, GO2 Walk with the Mayor.
This event was the first activity for the Town of Okotoks Canada Day Celebrations followed by many activities including free swimming and free activities in the gym.
Unfortunately, our 5km walk was cut short this year because of rain and lightening, but hopefully our participants were able to take advantage of all the other great activities planned for this Canada Day!
Mayor Bill McAlpine, the GO2 Volunteers and all who participated are our GO2 Champions for July!
