Clean your room – Your parents are always telling you to do it! House cleaning is actually a great way to get a full-body workout as you move about.
Dance – Pop in your favourite CD and dance to it. You can do this alone or with your friends – either way, dancing is great aerobic exercise.
Walk the dog - If you’ve got a family dog, take him or her for a walk. If it’s too cold out, you can always play around with the dog in the house, or go in the back yard and play catch.
Mow the lawn – Lawn mowing is a good cardio workout as you move around the yard, and it works your muscles as you push and pull the mower.
Workout Video - Pop in an aerobics, pilates, or yoga video and follow along. Aerobics tapes will get your heart going, while pilates and yoga help you stretch and tone your muscles.
Study breaks – When you’re doing homework, take regular breaks and do something active. Walk around the house or the block, do some push-ups or jumping jacks, shoot some hoops, or take the dog for a walk.
